SEKAHAUN KANSAINVÄLINEN TANSSIKLUBI

SODA Klubin tarkoituksena on edistää paritanssilajien osaamista ja tietoisuutta lavatanssikulttuurista, sekä opiskelijoiden että Turun alueella asuvien ulkomaalaisten keskuudessa. Klubiin voi tulla opiskelemaan tanssia, nauttimaan musiikista tai ihan vain hengailemaan porukassa.

Paritanssit ovat yksi niistä yleismaailmallisista kommunikaatiokeinoista, millä mies ja nainen voivat tutustua, vaikkei yhteistä puhuttua kieltä olisikaan.

Ohjaus pääosin englanniksi!

International Social Dance Club SODA

Sekahaku, a Finnish dance association, launches a new and sparkling International Social Dance Club SODA in cooperation with SHO and SKO Student Nations of the University of Turku.

In the Club partner dances from all over the world, such as Cha Cha, Bugg and Tango, are introduced. SODA Club evenings are held at S-Osis on Mondays at 19.30-21.30.

Our first Club evening is on Monday September the 8th and the topic then is the Swedish social dance Bugg which is energetic, fun and easy to learn! In SODA you don’t need a partner since we change partners many times during the evening. So at the same time you’ll learn to dance and get to meet a lot of new people! Teaching is given mainly in English.

Everybody, both international students and workers as well as Finns, are warmly welcome!
On Mondays at 19.30-21.30 S-Osis is located in Ylioppilastalo B, Rehtorinpellonkatu 4-6 B.

The First Club evening on September 8th 2008 is free!
